A work linked to the company’s exploration of the creation of the world , the conquest of territory and communities of individuals. Eléments presents a reckless voyage for the conquest of new territories. A strange and colourful universe where the world’s unity depends on the harmony of the four elements.
In their quest for knowledge and territory, instinctive dancers propose itineraries to places to bring to life or bring back to life in order to reach a better understanding of our environment and our history. Along the way each dancer develops, reveals, accomplishes himself. Other dancers fight with each other, communities are born. The central space is filled with an humanoid who liberates the senses and coordinates the movements. This play plunges the audience in a universe of sensation, creation, and discoveries. A hostile but rich and plentiful universe with all the influences of the Hip Hop culture. In the self-construction of the personality of each player, we realize as the show progresses that the unity of the world is not unique but that it is made of diversity, that can go as far as disparity and contradiction. Indeed, it is made of the latter, that is to say, nothing is added or subtracted. Eléments is an optimistic play which represents « the community » as the mystical body of the world.
